We are looking for an experienced Crane Electrical Supervisor to join one of the region’s leading maintainers of overhead cranes and hoists.  We pride ourselves in a premium service and have a partnership with Verlinde and only install New Overhead Cranes,  Swing Jibs and hoists. 

The successful candidate will join an existing field service team, who are involved in:

• LOLER Examinations and Maintenance Packages
• Service Repairs
• Crane Improvement and Modernisation Projects
• Breakdown Repairs
• Crane installation
• Collision avoidance Projects
• Anti-sway projects and many more

We have a partnership with Verlinde along with our bespoke InspectUs App where all our paperwork is electronic which truly makes a difference to our engineers and customers giving us the leading edge over the competition.

Qualifications

ACDC Cranes will be looking for an apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with Electrical / Mechanical engineering disciplines:

• Apprentice Trained
• LEEA Qualifications
• HNC to Degree in Electrical
• the candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, as there is extensive customer contact and will be safety conscious as well as physically fit and able to work at heights.

Training will be provided throughout your journey as an Crane Electrical Supervisor with ACDC as we always like to keep up to date with new technologies and innovation, to ensure that we are delivering the highest possible service to our customers.

ACDC Cranes was born back in 2008 and we have a wide range of blue-chip clients such as Special Melted Products, Network Rail, Mitie, Rolls Royce, Breedon Cement and many more.

We are a small family run business where everyone involved has a vast amount of knowledge on AC and DC Cranes, year on year we have always improved and bettered ourselves.

There will be times where the candidate will need to be willing to work extra hours to accommodate our client’s needs and will hold a current driving licence is essential.

Salary

A very competitive basic salary, plus overtime after the basic 40 hours.  A company vehicle and iphone will also be provided. You will get paid travel on breakdown situations with opportunities to work weekends too, majority of our work is based local to the Yorkshire area.
