Electrical Projects / Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Projects/Sales Manager to join one of the region’s leading maintainers of overhead cranes and hoists.

The successful candidate will be involved in managing the following:

  • Project planning
  • Electrical Drawing and Design
  • Crane Improvement and Modernisation Projects
  • Collision avoidance Projects
  • Anti-sway projects and many more
  • Seeking new project opportunities
  • Marketing / Sales / building customer relationships

We have a partnership with Verlinde, and Symeo along with our bespoke InspectUs App where all our paperwork is electronic which truly makes a difference to our engineers and customers giving us the leading edge over the competition.


ACDC Cranes will be looking for an apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with Electrical / Mechanical engineering disciplines:

  • LEEA Qualifications Preferable
  • Good Knowledge with PLC’s
  • HNC to Degree in Electrical
  • the candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, as there is extensive customer contact and will be safety conscious as well as physically fit and able to work at heights.

Training will be provided throughout your journey as an Electrical Projects/Sales Manager with ACDC as we always like to keep up to date with new technologies and innovation, to ensure that we are delivering the highest possible service to our customers.

ACDC Cranes was born back in 2008 and we have a wide range of blue-chip clients such as Special Melted Products, Network Rail, Mitie, Rolls Royce, Breedon Cement and many more.

We are a small family run business where everyone involved has a vast amount of knowledge on AC and DC Cranes, year on year we have always improved and bettered ourselves.

As the company grows there will always be opportunities for progression, and always looking for new ideas to improve our service.

We also own Diversity Fitness based in Worksop so free membership is also included for the 24/7 access control fitness centre which also has plans to be franchised around the UK.

There will be times where the candidate will need to be willing to work extra hours to accommodate our client’s needs and will hold a current driving licence is essential.
